Questions people ask before their first automated trade

Short answers in plain words. No trading jargon, no code. If you cannot find yours, write to us and we will add it.

How it works, in five steps

This is the whole journey. Everything below just explains the steps in more detail.

  1. 1Sign upUsername, e-mail, phone, password. Then enter the code we e-mail you.
  2. 2Set your capIn Vault Settings decide the most one signal may spend.
  3. 3Install the appWindows or Android. Paste your licence code and Binance keys, press Start.
  4. 4Choose a sourceSend a signal by hand, follow a group, or connect TradingView.
  5. 5Watch it tradeOrders appear in the app log and in your Reports.

The basics

What is CryptoStratium, in one sentence?

It is a service that turns a trading signal (a message that says "buy this coin" or "sell this coin") into a real order on your own Binance account, automatically, so you do not have to sit in front of a screen.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Everything is done by clicking: you sign up, copy one code into a small app, and choose where your signals come from. If you already use TradingView alerts you can connect them, but you do not have to.

Which exchange and which coins?

Binance spot market, coins traded against USDT (for example BTCUSDT or ETHUSDT). No futures, no leverage, no margin. Only coins that Binance is currently trading can be chosen; coins that Binance has stopped are shown greyed out.

Does CryptoStratium hold my money?

No. Your coins stay in your Binance account. The orders are placed by the small app on your own computer or phone, using Binance API keys that you create and that stay on your device. The website never sees your Binance keys and cannot move your funds.

Is it free?

A new account starts with a free trial once it has been switched on. Your remaining days are always shown on your Profile page. To keep going after the trial, write to Contact and we will extend your licence.

Can I lose money?

Yes. This is real trading with real coins, and no signal is always right. CryptoStratium gives you a safety net called the Vault that caps how much a single signal can spend, but it does not promise profit. Start small, use the trial to watch how it behaves, and never trade money you cannot afford to lose.

Getting started

How do I open an account?

Go to Sign Up and fill in a username, your e-mail, a phone number and a password. That is all.

You will then receive an e-mail with a verification code. Enter it on the Verify page. After that an administrator switches your account on, and you can log in.

The Sign Up form: 1 username, 2 e-mail, 3 phone, 4 password. The reference number is optional.

I did not get the verification e-mail.

Check your spam or junk folder first; the sender is info@cryptostratium.com. If it is not there after a few minutes, send us a note through the Contact page with your username and we will verify the address by hand.

What is the "licence code" and where do I find it?

It is a long code that is unique to your account. It tells the app which account it belongs to. After you log in it is shown on your Profile page (the first page you see) with a Copy button. You never have to type it; just paste it into the app.

Your Profile page: 1 the licence code with its Copy button, 2 the Windows and Android downloads.

How do I create Binance API keys?

In Binance go to Profile → API Management, create a new key and copy both the API Key and the Secret Key (the secret is shown only once).

  • Turn on "Enable Spot & Margin Trading".
  • Leave "Enable Withdrawals" off. The app never needs it, and this way the key cannot move funds out of Binance.

Paste both keys into the app and press its Save button. They are stored encrypted on your device only.

Which app do I need, and where do I get it?

Either the Windows app or the Android app; both are downloaded from your Profile page after you log in. They do the same job. Install one, paste your licence code and your Binance keys, then press BAŞLAT (Start). The app then waits for signals and places the orders.

The Windows app: 1 licence code, 2 Binance API key and secret, 3 Start (BAŞLAT), 4 order type (Emir tipi). The Android app has the same controls.

What is the shortest path from zero to my first automated trade?
  1. Sign up and verify your e-mail.
  2. Log in, open Vault Settings and choose how much one signal may spend.
  3. Install the app, paste your licence code and Binance keys, press Start.
  4. Pick a signal source: send a manual signal from the site to test, follow a group, or connect TradingView.

The first order you see in the app log is your first automated trade.

Signals and groups

What exactly is a signal?

A short instruction: BUY or SELL, which coin, at what price, and how much. The app receives it and sends the matching order to Binance. Nothing else is decided for you.

Where do signals come from?

Three places, and you can use any mix of them:

  • You, by hand. The Manual Signal form on the Signal Settings page: choose the coin, BUY or SELL, price and quantity, press send.
  • A group you follow. Someone else publishes signals and they run on your account too (see "copy trading" below).
  • TradingView or another webhook. Your own alert fires and becomes a signal without you touching anything.
The Manual Signal form: 1 coin, 2 BUY or SELL, 3 price, 4 quantity, then Fire Signal.

How do I connect TradingView?

Log in and open the TradingView webhooks page. It shows two things with your own key already filled in: a webhook address and an alert message (one for buys, one for sells). In TradingView create an alert, tick Webhook URL under Notifications and paste the address, then paste the message into the Message box and save. From then on every time the alert fires, CryptoStratium receives it as a signal and your app places the order.

The TradingView webhooks page when you are logged in: 1 the address, 2 the message to paste into the alert.

What is a signal group, and what is copy trading?

Every account has its own group. When the owner puts it on air, the signals they fire are also sent to every member of the group. Following a group is called copy trading: open Other Groups, pick one and send a join request. When the owner approves you, their signals start running on your account, sized by your Vault limits, not theirs.

Other Groups: 1 Send Request to join a group, 2 Silent Mod On to pause a group you are in.

Can I share my own signals?

Yes. Open My Signals, switch your group on air, and decide whether it is visible to others. People can then send a join request, or you can invite them yourself. You approve every member and can remove one at any time.

My Signals: your group code with Generate New, the Publish My Signals switch, join requests and your members.

How do I pause a group without leaving it?

On the Other Groups page press Silent Mod On next to that group. You stay a member, but its signals are ignored until you press Silent Mode Off again.

Money and risk (the Vault)

What is the Vault?

Your spending cap. In Vault Settings you choose the maximum amount (in USDT) that one signal may spend, for example "max 100 per signal". A signal that would spend more is trimmed down to your cap. Set it to a small number while you are learning.

Vault Settings: 1 the cap per signal, 2 delisting protection, 3 Market or Limit execution.
Vault Settings: 1 the cap per signal, 2 delisting protection, 3 Market or Limit execution.
What is a Vault exception?

A different cap for one specific coin. If your general cap is 100 but you are happy to put 300 into BTC, add an exception for BTCUSDT with 300. Exceptions only ever change the amount, never whether a signal runs.

Market or Limit: which should I choose?

Vault Settings has a switch called Order execution on Binance.

  • Market (the default): the order fills right away at the best price Binance has at that moment. It always executes, but the price can be a little different from the signal price.
  • Limit at signal price: the order is placed at exactly the signal price. You never pay more than that, but if the market moves away the order may sit open and never fill.

If you are not sure, keep Market. You can also change this inside the app itself ("Emir tipi") if you want a different choice on one device.

What does "Don't buy coins scheduled for delisting" do?

Binance regularly announces coins it will stop trading. When this box is ticked (it is on by default) CryptoStratium checks those announcements and skips any BUY for a coin that is about to be removed in the next couple of weeks. Selling is never blocked, so you can always get out of a position.

Why was one of my signals not executed?

The usual reasons, in order of how often they happen:

  • The app was not running or was not connected (check its log).
  • Your Vault cap is zero, or the amount after the cap was below the minimum Binance accepts for that coin.
  • The coin is no longer traded on Binance, or is scheduled for delisting and you have the protection box ticked.
  • The group that sent it was off air, or you had it in silent mode.
  • Your licence had expired (see the days left on your Profile page).

The app log shows the exact reason next to the signal.

How do I stop everything right now?

Press DURDUR (Stop) in the app. Nothing more will be sent to Binance until you press Start again. Orders that were already placed stay with Binance and can be cancelled there.

The apps

Do I really need the app? Can the website not trade for me?

You need the app. By design the website never has your Binance keys, so it cannot place orders. The app on your device is the only thing that talks to Binance, and it must be running and connected for signals to become trades.

Windows or Android?

Whichever device is switched on more of the time. They use the same licence code and behave the same way. Run one of them at a time; if both are listening, both will try to act on every signal.

The Android app: 1 licence code, 2 Binance API key and secret, 3 Start, 4 order type (Site ayarı = follow the site).
The Android app: 1 licence code, 2 Binance API key and secret, 3 Start, 4 order type (Site ayarı = follow the site).
Where are my Binance keys stored?

Only on the device that runs the app, encrypted with the device's own secure storage (Windows data protection or Android secure storage). They are never uploaded to CryptoStratium.

What does "Site ayarı" in the app mean?

"Site setting". The app's order type follows what you chose in Vault Settings on the website. Pick Market or Limit in the app only if you want this device to behave differently from the site.

The app says "Emir tekrar gönderilmedi". Is that an error?

No. It means "order not sent again": the same signal had already been placed on Binance, for example after the app restarted, so it was not duplicated. Nothing to do.

Account and support

I forgot my password.

Use Forgot password on the login page. A reset link is sent to the e-mail address you signed up with.

How long does my licence last, and how do I extend it?

The number of days left is on your Profile page under License Duration. It turns red when fewer than five days remain. To extend, contact us through the Contact page.

Where do I see what happened to my trades?

Once you are logged in, Open Positions lists what the platform currently considers open, with the entry price and the signal that opened it. Reports shows closed trades with profit or loss and a full history you can filter by coin, group or date.

Something looks wrong. Who do I tell?

Use Report an Error in the menu (or Contact if you cannot log in). Say what you expected, what happened instead, the coin and the time. Reports go straight to the administrators.
